Margaret Gourlay has been teaching Real Estate Courses since 1986. Margaret recently received the designation as Real Estate Instructor (REI). One of only a few in the province of Ontario. in sales for every company they have worked for. Their training background
is Adult Education, Management for a National Real Estate company, Arbitration
Committee members for the Toronto Real Estate Board, and owners of their
own brokerage. Their experience in dealing with new issues on a day
to day basis, combined with illustrations based on their extensive experience
in the field, provide a learning environment the real estate professional
can relate to. A Pratical Approach to Agency 1) Clearly understand their Agency obligations and; 2) Understand the impact of Agency criteria in RECO's Code of Ethics 3) Acquire the skills to avoid confusion about Agency in a Real Estate transaction 4) Professionally answer the questions and concerns from the customer about Agency 5) Use with skill the approved forms for both Seller Agency and Buyer Agency 6) Compentently cpmplete the Agreement of Purchase and Sale as it applies to Agency 7) Convey with confidence the duties of Agency to the consumer. Retrofit and the Realtor It addresses the potential liability that could be incurred if a Seller or Buyer are not properly informed, and promotes the Realtors awareness that consistent professionalism will protect their commissions, limit their liability, and protect their real estate licence.
